Group tours are always welcome to come and explore all Altoona, Blair County has to offer! While you're here experience the railroad at The National Historic Landmark, The Horseshoe Curve and the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum, ride the world's oldest wooden roller coaster at one of our two amusement parks, do some antiquing or shopping, explore art and other museums and enjoy a wine tasting at a winery. We have a number of cutting edge meeting facilities offering the latest in technology as well as one-of-a-kind meeting spaces offering unique settings. Altoona is home to the Blair County Convention Center, which is connected to the Courtyard by Marriott. Many other hotels also offer meeting space. Plus many attractions in the area offer unique meeting places.
After the business day comes to an end guests can take in a ballgame, ride the world's oldest wooden roller coaster, shop at a number of unique shops and eat at one of our national chain or local restaurants.
Located along Interstate 99 with an airport nearby makes traveling to your meeting site easy. There are several reliable taxicab companies in Altoona.
