Parks

Blair County is home to Canoe Creek State Park as well as numerous other parks offering outdoor recreation. Canoe Creek is open year-round with a variety of activities. There is also a park featuring a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Many of our other parks feature playground equipment, hiking trails and picnic pavilions.     Blair County's only off lead dog park. Fee based, private 501(c)3 organization. 10 acre park with 5 acres fenced with separate areas for large dogs, small dogs, canine sports arena & behavioral training.

    This Historical PA Canal Basin Park features a custom designed play structure replicating a Sectional Canal Boat & a Visitors Center located in a restored house from the Victorian period known as the Reiser House. Park hours dawn to dusk. Admission is free.
