    The trail follows the route of the Allegheny Portage Railroad tracks. The hiking sections of the trail are located on or near the original route of the APRR. The bicycle section is located on the route of the New Portage Railroad. Trail is about 10 miles long.

    September 11 National Memorial Trail

    An evolving network of off-road multi-use trails, greenways & scenic roads & byways that link the three National Memorials dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001; the National September 11 Memorial in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Washington D.C., & the United Airlines Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The 1,140-mile trail ties together existing trails through Pennsylvania.
