 Holiday Lights on the Lake 2019-20


Drive through a fifty-one acre dazzling display of more than one million lights and animation at Lakemont Park. Either before or after you ride, stop in and see Santa at his gift shop for unique holiday gifts, ornaments, and decorations. Right next door to Santa's Gift Shop is the Alto Model Train Display. Enthusiasts and newcomers alike will enjoy the many scenes and trains operating. November 15-January 5, 2020. Open nightly 6pm-10pm.  For more information

Holiday Lights on the Lake
 November 15-January 5, 2020: 
Fifty-one acre dazzling display of lights and animation at Lakemont Park. Drive through a wonderland of bright Holiday lights and incredible animated displays. Open 6pm-10pm.

Elf the Musical at Mishler Theatre November 21-24:
Based on the hilarious Will Ferrell holiday movie, Buddy, an orphaned baby, mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size causes him to face the truth. Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and to discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the Naughty List, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help NYC remember the true meaning of Christmas. After all, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” For more information

Winterfest Parade November 24:
Downtown Hollidaysburg. 2-4pm; Kick off the holiday season! Gather your family and friends to enjoy the sounds of the bands and sights of the floats that pass by.

Motown Christmas at Mishler Theatre November 25:
7:30pm; Motown Christmas features a world-class vocal group, assembled from past and present members of Motown’s most legendary groups: The Temptations, The Miracles and The Capitols. Santa Express Train November 29-December 1, December 7&8, December 14&15, December 20-22: 
Join the magic aboard the Santa Express Train, a family holiday tradition on the rails! This steam-powered ride will feature festive decorations, Christmas carolers and of course ole Saint Nick himself.  For more information and tickets

Heritage Holidays at Baker Mansion November 29-December 29:
Baker Mansion will be decked out with one-of-a-kind decorations provided by the Blair Garden Club of Altoona. This is your last chance to view the WW2 Exhibit. Museum is fully stocked with a variety of items to please that history buff in your family.

Light Up Night and Soup Sampling 
November 29:
Downtown Hollidaysburg. 5-8pm; Join us for a festive Christmas tree lighting and tasty soups from area businesses. Participants can join in singing carols, visit the petting zoo, enjoy the ice sculpture, or visit with Santa.
