Antiques and Collectibles

The Hollidaysburg Canal System was once a transfer point for canal traffic. Passengers arrived by boat and had to depart without some large cargo when they went to travel on via the railroad, leaving an assortment of antiques behind. As a result the nearby town of Duncansville now has an entire block of antique shops and an antique gallery that also hosts a weekly flea market. There are now numerous antique shops through out Blair County featuring a variety of collectibles.
